Our biome are deserts. Deserts recieve very little precipitiation, meaning it recieves very little rain. In many deserts, there is a lot of sunshine and no rain, so it is very hot. Most deserts are covered in sand. Since there is so much sunshine, and no clouds, the sun makes the sand very hot. But there are also cold deserts, also known as polar deserts. Antartica has the largest polar desert. The largest hot desert, is the Sahara desert. Since there is very little rain, so there is no humidity. It is very very dry. There isn't much biodiversity in deserts. Not many animals like it very hot and dry. There are very few plants at the desert too. Most plants would die there.

I think that a cactus can live in a desert because it has adapted. A cactus lives in an area with very little rain, but has adapted by storing water from whenever it does rain.

Cacti probably can survive in the desert because of evolution. After having trouble in the desert, the plant adapted and evolved with the environment to survive. Survival of the Fittest.

I think cacti survive in the dessert in several ways. It rarely rains in the dessert, so when it does, the cacti absorb as much rain possible. Also, the cacti have adapted to the scorching heat in the dessert. Maybe they store water inside of their hollow skin to prevent heat from getting in.
